Commonly Asked Questions
– Can I have a printed copy of a pattern?
Yes! All of my patterns are available in either PDF (virtual) format so you can download it straight to your device, or for a flat fee of £2.95 (UK). That equates to around €6.95 (Europe), $10.95 (USA), $14.95 (Australia/Canada), although the exchange rate is updated daily on the website so is subject to change!
I’ve shipped patterns all over the world – from Tasmania, to the North Pole, to the remote island of Jura in Scotland! So don’t worry – we’ll make sure the pattern gets to you! If you are experiencing any difficulties placing an international order please email us.
All patterns are sent in hardbacked A4 envelopes and in a plastic sleeve for maximum protection. All patterns are currently printed on to Premium HP 100gsm A4 paper – if you would like a professionally designed pattern in traditional glossy format please be patient – these will be available to purchase through the website very soon.
– Will you design/dedicate a pattern for a newborn?
Yes! I am now accepting commissions for bespoke pattern designs which can be named after a person (or place!) of your choosing. Please email me here to discuss your requirements and to begin working on a brief. Costs start from just £100.00; you will receive a hand knitted piece by Donna, the first printed copy of the pattern, 5 copies of the pattern for sharing with friends and a lifelong memory for your loved one and generations to come!
– Can you knit the pattern for me?
Unfortunately not, as the popularity of my designs grew; so did the demand for personally knitted items which are almost exclusively for family these days! However, if you visit my Facebook community with over 13,000 active members – there are many talented knitters (who purchase these patterns) who I am sure would be delighted to undertake a commission!
If you don’t have Facebook, email us and I’ll do my very best to put you in touch with someone who can help.
– Do you do bigger sizes?
The sizes listed are the only sizes available. My patterns often include instructions for three or four sizes – providing incredible value as these would normally be sold separately. Please check the individual product page for exact sizes and contact us if you aren’t sure. Thank you.
For any other inquiries, please email us and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
