ARGYLE is a lovely Cardigan and Hat with such a great pattern and no cable needle required.  Ideal for beginners as it is all knit and purl stitches and super quick to complete for more accomplished knitters.  Suitable for both boys and girls, this is a really lovely knit.

ARGYLE comes in chest size 16″ – 22″ and knits to size on straight needles.

Please measure the child as they come in all shapes and sizes so may need extra length or a different chest size.  The ages suggested are an approximation and loose guide.

ARGYLE – a lovely Aran set, perfect for beginners.

My Irish roots have inspired my love of the Aran style of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.

Size Guide:  The pattern for a Jumper has instructions to fit 16″ to 22″ chest.  Always measure the child prior to starting your project as all children are different.

Wool & yarn recommendation…

I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is!  For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special Aran which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin.  There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier.  (Spend over £25 to get free P&P and sign up their newsletter for 15% off your first order!)… I would also recommend Paintbox Aran for this pattern.
