Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special DK which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier. I have just finished Joan and love it. Like all of Donna’s patterns it was a very well explained pattern and lovely to see it grow. I have always had trouble in carrying on a pattern in increases and decreases, and sleeves have been a nightmare. Imagine my delight in finding that Joan only has increases in the last row of ribbing and the rest was straight up. Donna’s patterns are just lovely and even a novice knitter can handle them.

Another of my favourite Donna patterns. I chose to knit a collar instead of the ribbed neck. It was knit in Bernat Softee Baby. Very soft and cuddly. I knit this one in the largest size 3 – 4 yr.
