Description
Myla’s Mix is a unisex chunky knit to fit 16″, 18″, 20″ and 22″ size chest. It has instructions for:
- a simple patterned chunky jacket, hat and eyelash pattern and one knitted with a Fluffy textured yarn
This one is ideal for beginners and those looking for a superfast knit. I have used chunky extra long eyelash and a combination of eyelash and DK to knit these up in the past. The end product is larger as it is a jacket so by extending the length of the arms and body on the largest size, it would easily fit a 3/4 year old.
I have used Stylecraft Special Chunky for its softness and it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. I would also recommend:
- Paintbox Chunky
- Ice Yarns for the eyelash knit
- James C Brett Fluffy Chunky.

Just completed this pattern being in Australia we can’t always get the same type of yarn but I think the finished result is great, don’t be afraid to experiment you will love the result, can’t wait to start my next pattern

My version of Mila Mix because my customer wanted this fur but I only had enough of the yarn to knit the two fronts and a hat from another of Donna’s patterns. Delighted with the finished knit.

My Great Niece was in a Pageant and her Grandma asked for a new coat and hat as she had outgrown the previous one I made her (above). She was crowned the Snowball Queen and was judged 4 out of 4. The hat is from Donna’s Winter Berries pattern.
