“Zachary” is an adaptation from the top selling “Liam” pattern with a wee twist and more sizes.  Starting at newborn, it will fit up to 24″ chest so approx 4 years depending on size of child.

“Zachary” is a Double Knitting (DK) Pattern available to purchase in PDF form for immediate download or to have printed and posted to you (UK only) for a flat fee of £2.95 – so you’re always best ordering a few patterns together for best value!

Zachary has been adapted from the top selling pattern “Liam” and in more sizes!!

My Irish roots have inspired my love of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.

Size Guide:  The pattern has instructions to fit 14″, 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″, and 24″  chest.  This is approx ages birth to 3-4 years depending on size of child, best practice is to measure the child prior to starting. 

Wool & yarn recommendation…

I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is!  For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special DK which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin.  There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier.  (Spend over £25 to get free P&P and sign up their newsletter for 15% off your first order!)… I would also recommend Paintbox DK for this pattern.

    Love the design, raglan sleeves are my favourite. I did find a few problems in pattern but a lot of help from Annmarie got it sorted. In general all Donna’s patterns are extremely easy to follow. I love all I’ve got. Reasonably easy to anyone new to knitting cables.

    I’ve just finished Zachary in duck egg blue. The pattern is easy to follow the only issue I had was when casting on the collar for a 16” chest the sleeves had 12 stitches but the instructions stated it should have been 14 stitches I just adjusted the collar to suit. I will be making this in a bigger size for my baby grandson
