Garretstown is not too far from Kinsale and right on the coast. We rented a house here last year which was lovely for walks and stunning views although we had to travel for shops and restaurants. Lovely part of Cork.
My Irish roots have inspired my love of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.
Size Guide: The pattern for a Hat and Cardigan and has instructions to fit 24″, 26″, 28″ and 30″ chest and the end product is larger as it is a jacket. This is an Aran knit pattern and I would suggest measuring child to get the correct sizing.
Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special Aran which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin.
