Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special Aran which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier. I just finished my first Aberdeen sweater. Such an easy pattern to follow, only needed the cable needle on every 6th row, and it knitted up very quickly.

Completed Aberdeen sweater and hat for a customer. I love that it is a 6 row repeat and only 1 row is a cable. I did not have enough yarn to knit a blanket to match so I chose to knit pants from the Allison pattern and boots and mitts from Donna’s free patterns. Enough yarn left over to make a lovey. I definately suggest this pattern for anyone looking for a simple knit.
