For a change I have used cables on the ribs and think the effect is lovely.  This design also uses a brand new cable stitch to the DBD range.  It sounds tricky but straight forward if you read and follow the instructions as set.   Comprising of instructions for Cardigan and Hat, this smart set will suit both boys and girls and it comes in chest size 16″ – 22″.  Bootees and mittens are available as a free download on website. Knitted on straight needles.

I am reluctant to state ages for sizes and those suggested on pattern are for guidance only – as children get older, best to go by chest size then measure neck to where you wish it to end and adjust accordingly.

My Irish roots have inspired my love of the Aran style of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.

Size Guide:  The pattern for a Hat and Cardigan has instructions to fit 16″ to 22″ chest.  Always measure the child prior to starting your project as all children are different.

Wool & yarn recommendation…
