There are three yarns to choose from to knit this – DK, Aran and Chunky!! So a perfect go to in your collection to top of a garment ir as a quick knit of an evening.

All babies are different so please check before commencing. Simple and quick to knit, get your own bit of Royalty on your little prince or princess!

The pattern contains instructions to fit 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-3 years.

Thought I would pull together a pattern on the back of the popularity of the Prince Archie one which was dominating the headlines a few years ago. Prince Archie also made an appearance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee sporting a nautical themed outfit so similar to our design Ger!

There are three yarns to choose from to knit this – DK, Aran and Chunky!!

Hat will fit 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-3 years.

My Irish roots have inspired my love of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations. This pattern and it is suitable for anyone but sometimes a man will go without the pompom or a smaller one. The pattern has instructions to fit birth to adult and can be adjusted as necessary. It has been scaled on a larger size.

I have used Stylecraft Special Chunky for its softness and it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. I would also recommend Paintbox Chunky.
