Lovely wooden buttons which I had specially made to finish off Chunky and Aran Knits.

They come in packs of ten (10) with the words "Little Cutie" and are 20mm diameter.

SNOW QUEEN is a stunning pattern with two styles of Coat – one with Collar and one with a Hood.  There are also a choice of 2 styes of Hat.

SNOW QUEEN comes in chest size 18″ – 24″ and knits up to a least 2 chest sizes larger to accommodate clothing underneath and for comfort.  Knitted on straight needles.  I used stocking stitch on one and a textured pattern on the other but of course you can switch these to your own preference.

Please measure the child as they come in all shapes and sizes so may need extra length or a different chest size.  The ages suggested are an approximation and loose guide.

SNOW QUEEN – two beautiful Aran Coats.

My Irish roots have inspired my love of the Aran style of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.

Size Guide:  The pattern for two Coats and matching Hats has instructions to fit 18″ to 24″ chest.  Always measure the child prior to starting your project as all children are different.

Wool & yarn recommendation…

I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is!  For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special Aran which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin.  There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier.  (Spend over £25 to get free P&P and sign up their newsletter for 15% off your first order!)… I would also recommend Paintbox Aran for this pattern.

    Donna has excelled yet again. My version of the Snow Queen pattern. This one is a size 1 – 2. Such a pleasure to knit. The bobbles add a layer of detail to this easy-to-knit pattern. Definitely a must-knit.
