Weavers Point is an Aran set comprising of Cardigan and Hat.
My Irish roots have inspired my love of the Aran style of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations.
Size Guide: The pattern for a Hat and Jumper has instructions to fit 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″, 26″, 28″ and 30″ chest. Always measure the child prior to starting your project as all children are different.
Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special Aran which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier. How I loved knitting this one. A very easy 4 row repeat so no problem in memorising it. It knitted up quickly so no time to get bored. This one is knitted in ice white, Jarol baby rambler Aran. Nice and soft, my great granddaughter will look nice and cosy in this. I knitted size 1-2 years as she’s 18 months at Christmas. The hat I finished with a faux fur Pom Pom.

I have just completed 2 of these for a customer order 3-6 months and 4-5 years in Hayfield Oatmeal. It’s an easy pattern to follow and ideal for a beginner. As was mentioned in previous comment I think the front pattern should be reversed to match the pattern up. I still love it though and my customer was over the moon
