Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special DK which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier. I fell in love with this pattern from the moment I first saw it. The pattern is extremely easy to follow as are all of Donna’s. I chose stylecraft special DK in ‘matador’ a gorgeous red. This wool is beautifully soft to touch and knits up beautifully. This pattern would be suitable for a beginner as not too complex. This one is for my great granddaughter Ayla who is 18 months old now. She’s a lucky girl and models most of my knits that are big enough. This one will be my go to pattern in the future. I topped the hat off with a faux fur Pom Pom in ‘champagne’ which matches the ‘I’m adorable’ buttons.

I absolutely love this pattern. It is such an easy pattern to knit. I have done this in lilac and now Baby Pink a d used vaux fur for the pompoms. An absolute delight. Can’t seem to upload picture.
