About ‘Church Bay’
Church Bay is a beautiful little spot just outside Crosshaven. I worked in a Bar here one summer. The owner was Belgian, his wife was French, I was Scottish and the pub was called the Mexican and it was in Ireland. Bit Irish or what. However, I had great times down on the beach and this pattern looks like little shells which reminds me of it.
This is a DK pattern featuring 4 designs in four sizes on the one pattern – a must for Summer knits. Lovely to knit and I hope the colour coded instructions help. When Covid-19 hit the UK I wanted to offer customers value for money as I knew many were shielding and we were all in lockdown and I know it has kept many of my ladies busy during the long months.
Size Guide: The pattern for a Hat and Cardigan has instructions to fit 16″, 18″, 20″ and 22″ chest.
Wool & yarn recommendation…
I often get asked which wool I use and who my yarn supplier is! For this knit I have used Stylecraft Special DK which I selected for its softness, it is very gentle on a baby’s skin. There are over 88 different shades available through LoveCrafts, who are my preferred yarn and wool supplier. (Spend over £25 to get free P&P and sign up their newsletter for 15% off your first order!)… I would also recommend Paintbox DK for this pattern.
